Hey guys, so today I have a design team project for ya’ll that doubles as a Mother’s Day card for my mommy. Here are some pictures:
I used DCWV’s Lady Couture Paper Stack. I’ve had it for awhile, but haven’t had a chance to use it yet. this was the perfect project. I used a Prima Butterfly in the right hand corner and a Recollections flower beside it along with some Tim Holtz metal tags behind it that you can’t see in any of these pictures because my camera wouldn’t focus on them. I cut out a dress form from the stack on on the inside I cut out “Beautiful People” A sentiment that was on the same page as the dress form. If you want a better look please go check out my YouTube Channel.

Hey yawl, My computer wouldn’t upload the video properly so it has taken some time to upload these pictures for the April Design Team. This project is two projects in one. Here is the box:
It’s a Making Memories Tin. It’s silver finish was hard for me to work with. I could not get inspiration for this project. It was a constant pain in my side. Luckily it only took two hours. I mostly sat there and gave it the evil eye. I could not figure out what to do with this! The entire tin was made using things I’ve gotten from giveaways. Here are some close up pictures:
The flowers are from that giveaway I won from simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com and the tin and the pearl strands are from that youtube giveaway that I’ve linked recently.
The inside has a piece of paper that I border punched and then a small charm. Here are those pictures as well:

Hey guys. I’ve been doing a little bit more on youtube the past couple of days but have been putting off blogging. SO. I am catching up! Today I want to show ya’ll two projects from a swap I am doing with my new friend Kameka Touch. She is so funny and is very creative…. Needless to say I cannot wait ‘till I get my box! So first things first, We decided to do Giant Clothes Pins. She wanted a Shabby Chic theme, and a Parisian theme.
The Parisian theme was fairly easy. I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted an old age Paris feel. I used Apple Barrel’s Antique White Acrylic paint and once that had dried I used Gold Leaf to add a more worn look. I really didn’t know how it would turn out, but I am happy with the result! I used all Recollections’ products for the embellishments, aside from what I used from MAS’ store. I obviously used the Parisian Shape Set due to the fact that there is an Eiffel Tower on the front, but just to note, that is the only set I have been using lately! SHHH!! I dipped both of them into the Gold Leaf Golden-Corral-chocolate-fountain-style and them adhered them both with hot-glue. On the back I added some Recollections’ bling and a flower like the ones from the front.
The shabby chic one was a challenge for me. I have never done shabby chic before, so I had to plunge into the unknown to complete this project. Again I used some of Apple Barrel’s Antique White Acrylic paint. Because I wasn’t covering it up I did three coats and then proceeded tp add flowers from the giveaway I won over at:
http://www.simpleandsassycreations.blogspot.com/
And some faux pearl trim from Recollections on all four sides.
Watch the video to see ‘em!

Hey guys, I’ve been in my craft room a lot the past couple of days and I was able to whip these projects out in just a little bit! I used Jenny Bowlin Paper on both of these. If you notice they are both similar in color and style. I used two different shape sets from MAS’ store; the Parisian Shape Set and the Vintage Sewing Machine matching Shape Set. Here are the videos for Project #1 and Project #2

This is a wooden dress form from MAS’ shop. It comes with 12 blank chipboard forms and one wooden with a stand.
Here is the video. (Again, sorry for the lack of pictures!)

As some of you may know, I am a late bloomer to say the least. I have not gotten to do anything online for the past three weeks due to grounding. I am truly sorry for not getting around to posting my design team projects till the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH!
Okay, so this month I decided to conquer two Design Team Projects. This first one is a card organizer. Here is the video. (Sorry for the lack of pictures this month.)

Hey Guys, Okay so I’ll admit that I didn’t make a blog post last month. BUT I did make a video. I forgot to make a blog post but once I remembered it was to late. I didn’t think it was to much of a loss though because it was so simple, but I regret not doing it for my followers. So without further a’do… here is my First Design Team Project for the month of January!
This is a frame that I got from Wal-Mart for 97 cents. I used Antique White paint from Apple Barrel, and then mod-podge some old book pages on top of that.
I then proceeded to add a few embellishments.
The flowers are from a floral arrangement from a giveaway I won (Her youtube name is walkelmol – go check her out!) recently. I took one of them apart and then painted them both with Antique White Paint from Apple Barrel. I then added an antique gold button from the same giveaway. The white babies breath are from her also. The red stick pin is from a swap on The Beach, and the brass butterfly is a pin from walkelmol. At the very back is a chipboard piece from MAS (minialbumscraps.ning.com) from the Parisian Shape Set. The Eiffel Tower shape is the one used in this particular project. I painted it in black.
This is another frame, that I made on a whim. I used three coats of purple embossing powder and one on the sides and the back.
This is an up-close view of the embossed frame and the pearl accents.
Here are a few of the supplies I used in both projects.
